3.0m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
The installation of this 3.0m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is a great solution for sites that need to provide access to vehicles. Being 2.0m wide, this gate is appropriate for small sized vehicles like forklifts. It is easy to assemble and should be installed into Palisade Security Fencing structures which are also 3.0m in height. The palisade gate contains two gate leaves which are both 1.0m wide. When the gate leaves are closed together they are secured with a sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts, where they effectively merge with the rest of the fencing structure to keep the site protected. There is also the option to order a Heavy-Duty Padlock if additional security is required for your security fencing and palisade gate.
Standing 3.0m high, this palisade gate offers a fantastic level of site protection and should be used in areas which have a very high risk to their security. It can be constructed using either Dig-In Posts or Bolt Down Posts, although the ground on which you erect your security fencing and palisade gate will ultimately determine which posts will need to be employed, as they have different compatibilities. Bolt Down Posts are compatible with hard ground like concrete and Dig-In Posts are compatible with soft ground like grass. To choose the correct posts for your gate you should complete the customisation section above.

Features & Manufacture
Made from quality steel, this 3.0m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can supply a great deal of security to your premises and keep staff and equipment safe. To mould the steel into shape, it has undergone a cold rolling process where it is made thinner and more lightweight, but without reducing its strength. Within the palisade gate’s construction, there are several pales; each of which has been designed in a specific way to prevent intrusion. With a ‘W’ shaped profile, each pale is difficult to grip onto or gain a footing on. The pales also feature a Flat, Round and Notched, Round, Triple Pointed or Single Pointed head in order to restrict climbing activity, and each pale type will offer varying levels of safety and intimidation. This palisade gate is also given a galvanised finish which effectively meets the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. Galvanisation is a process where a layer of zinc is applied to the steel to help protect it from rusting. We also offer a polyester powder coated finish in several RAL colours. This finish provides the palisade gate with extra protection against weathering and damage, along with transforming it so it adopts a brighter and more aesthetically pleasing look to suit the environment in which it stands. All of these customisable options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
All of our 3.0m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates are sold with a standard galvanised finish and feature pales which are Triple Pointed, however this can easily be changed by choosing other customisation options above.
Gate Kit
Every 3.0m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate that we supply is sold as a kit containing all of the necessary components for construction. This is helpful as items do not need to be bought individually. In your gate kit you will receive the whole gate frame and one sliding latch bolt, along with pales, hinges, drop bolts, posts and fixing bolts. The items which we do not include in our kits are Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts, which means that they must be added to your shopping cart if it is needed.
