The AcoustiGuard® SR1 (A1) 2.0m High x 3.0m Wide Single Leaf Gate Kit offers a certified, secure and acoustically tested access solution for high-risk environments. Designed for critical infrastructure and developed with performance at the forefront, this gate delivers LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) resistance to forced entry while complying with industry-recognised acoustic barrier standards, BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2.
Manufactured in the UK and delivered fully assembled for efficient installation, this heavy-duty acoustic gate is ideal for settings that demand high-security protection with integrated environmental noise control.
Tested and certified to LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), this gate resists attempts at unauthorised access using tools found in Toolkit A. This includes common hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and adjustable spanners, often used in opportunistic attacks.
As a result, this gate is suitable for perimeter boundaries requiring formal compliance with UK government security standards and risk management frameworks. The robust security features include reinforced hinges and catch posts, fully welded seams, and through-bolted SR1-rated security hinges.
All fixings are secured using shear nuts, and the locking system integrates with First Fence’s SR1 gate accessories, enabling full boundary compliance when paired with AcoustiGuard® fencing of equal rating and specification.
AcoustiGuard® gates are engineered not just for intrusion resistance, but also to control environmental sound transfer through sensitive boundary zones. The acoustic face is constructed from UC4 tanalised timber slats, mounted securely to a hot dip galvanised steel frame. This configuration is tested to meet the demands of BS EN 1794-1 (structural performance) and BS EN 1794-2 (acoustic performance) for non-highway and roadside acoustic barriers.
This makes the AcoustiGuard® range ideal for utility compounds, rail and highway infrastructure, industrial estates and commercial premises in residential or high-activity zones, where both noise and intrusion must be effectively managed.
The 3.0m access width ensures practical usability for vehicles or machinery, without compromising security integrity. The wide single leaf is stabilised through SR1 hardware and must be installed according to the certified range drawings to maintain compliance.
This gate has been engineered to offer the highest performance across both strength and acoustic attenuation. The gate frame is built from hot dip galvanised mild steel, compliant to ISO 1461, offering long-term resistance against corrosion and harsh environmental conditions.
Supplied fully assembled, the gate reduces time on site and eliminates the risk of improper assembly. The precision-welded frame provides structural rigidity and alignment with the corresponding acoustic fencing system.
All AcoustiGuard® gates include tamper-resistant fixings and security cleats, with supplied SR1-compliant hardware for installation. Installation must be carried out in accordance with the certified O&M and range drawings to maintain the integrity of the LPS 1175 certification.
A 50mm ground clearance is designed into the gate to allow for proper swing and operational tolerance, with hinges fully adjustable to ensure plumb alignment on site.
No substitute materials or unapproved alterations to post size, gate hardware or infill cladding are permitted under the SR1 certification terms. For full compliance, only the approved First Fence configuration and accessories must be used.
The AcoustiGuard® 2.0m x 3.0m gate is widely specified by architects, contractors, and local authorities across the following sectors:
Whether installed as a standalone secure gate or as part of a continuous acoustic and security boundary, this gate offers proven performance against both physical attack and environmental noise transmission.
