2.4m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Security Gate

By installing this 2.4m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate into a Palisade Security Fencing structure, you can allow small vehicles to access your site when needed. This gate has a width of 4.0m, which means that it is suitable for cars, small vans and forklifts to drive through; however, only one lane of traffic can drive through the gate at once. In addition to allowing vehicle access, this gate also helps to secure your premises when it is closed, as it effectively merges with the rest of the palisade security fencing structure. This gate is secured with the drop bolt and sliding bolt provided, although you may wish to increase your palisade fencing and gate’s security through the addition of a Heavy-Duty Padlock.

This palisade gate can be constructed in a range of areas; however, because of its 2.4m height, it is most suitable for locations which pose a high risk to their security. You may also construct this type of security fencing and palisade gate on various types of ground. For construction on harder ground types like concrete, you will need to use Bolt Down Posts, and for softer ground types, you will be required to use Dig-In Posts. Features & Manufacture

A great aspect of this 2.4m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is its strength, stability and robustness. It is made from steel, which has been both cold rolled and galvanised. By cold rolling the steel for its manufacture, the palisade gate is more lightweight and thinner but still just as strong. By galvanising the steel, the gate is provided with protection against rusting through a zinc coating and is ultimately made more durable. This galvanised finish meets the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. You may wish to supply your palisade gate with better protection against damage caused by factors like corrosion, in which case you can choose to have your gate polyester powder coated. The application of this also makes your gate brighter and more visible. Polyester Powder Coating can be requested as a customisation option and is available in a variety of RAL colours. Another great aspect of this palisade gate lies in the clever design of its pales. With a ‘W’ shape profile, each pale is very hard to grip, so scaling opportunities are greatly limited. In addition to this, each of the pales will also contain a top design which is either Single Pointed, Triple Pointed, Round and Notched, Round or Flat. These effectively make climbing restricted, with Single Pointed and Triple Pointed styles functioning as a theft deterrent also. Therefore, it is important to think about the level of security and the level of safety that your location requires before selecting your pale types. Please note that we will supply all 2.4m x 4.0m single leaf palisade gates with a galvanised finish and pales which are triple pointed as standard. If you would like to alter these features, you can do so by choosing from a variety of customisation options located above.

Gate Kit

Each kit will include the correct number of pales, posts, and bolt fixings, along with the gate frame, to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System, drop bolt, hinges and a sliding latch bolt. This is really useful as it successfully decreases ordering time.
