2.4m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 2.4m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can be used to form an access point in a Palisade Security Fencing system, in order to enable vehicles like cars and forklifts to pass in and out of a site. It is easy to install and can help to keep your premises secure, as well as granting site access. The palisade gate features two gate leaves which open to a total width of 4.0m. They can also be opened individually as well as together. To secure the gate when it is shut you should use the sliding latch bolt and drop bolts provided with the palisade gate. You can also use a Heavy-Duty Padlock, if extra gate security is required.
Due to its 2.4m height, this palisade gate is considered to be most suitable for locations requiring a high level of security. A great aspect of this gate is its versatility. It can be installed on a variety of ground types; however you will need to make sure that you obtain gate posts which are compatible with the ground that your palisade gate is being assembled on. Dig-In posts are compatible with soft ground like grass, whereas Bolt Down posts are compatible with hard ground like concrete. You will be able to choose your required gate posts within the customisation section above.

Features & Manufacture
Made from steel, this 2.4m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate offers great strength and resilience. It also has great stability; even during high winds and stormy conditions. This palisade gate has undergone a process of cold rolling to form its shape; which enables it to become lighter but without decreasing any of its strength. It has also been designed to prevent climbing activity and intrusion. Every pale that features within the palisade gate frame has a profile which is ‘W’ shaped and this is to make them hard to grip onto. There is also the option of Flat, Round, Round and Notched, Triple Pointed or Single Pointed pales for your gate. It is important that you choose pales that are appropriate and suitable for the area where your security fencing and palisade gate will stand as Flat and Round pales will offer greater safety, but Pointed pales are more intimidating and potentially harmful if crossed. This palisade gate is also supplied with an effective galvanised finish to help protect it from rust. This finish complies with BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and consists of the application of a zinc layer. This 2.4m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate may also be polyester powder coated. This type of finish not only provides the gate with colour and better visibility, but it also enables the palisade gate to be more resilient to factors such as weathering and general wear. Polyester Powder Coating is available as a customisation option and can be requested in a variety of RAL colours. All of these options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
All 2.4m x 4.0m double leaf palisade gates will be supplied with a standard galvanised finish and feature triple pointed pales. To change any of these features, please complete the customisation section at the top of the page
Gate Kit
When you order your 2.4m x 4.0m Double Leaf Gate you will receive a kit containing all of the necessary parts and fixings. The kit will include hinges, pales, posts, fixing bolts and drop bolts, as well as a sliding latch bolt and the entire gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System. The only items which are not included in the kit is Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts. Therefore, if you require any cement for the setting of Dig-In posts, you will need to add this to your shopping cart as an additional purchase.
