Product Description

2.4m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit

This 2.4m high Palisade Fencing is suitable for sites which require a high level of security. It is very strong and is designed for permanent installation. Palisade is considered to be one of the most traditional forms of security fencing, and it is often used in areas that require protection, such as commercial, domestic, or social areas.

Our Palisade security fencing is self raking, and can accommodate ground inclines of 30 degrees. This makes it a stable choice for sloped property lines.

Please note that our Palisade range does not come pre-assembled, and the components will need to be assembled on-site. For more information, please read our installation guide.

Where Can Palisade Fencing Be Used?

  • Industrial or construction sites
  • Schools or colleges
  • Businesses or depots that have large amounts of stock
  • Commercial establishments
  • Bus and railway stations
  • General fencing for establishing boundaries

What are the key security features of Palisade Fencing?

Manufactured from cold rolled steel, which is where the steel goes through several rolls at room temperature. The steel can then be manipulated gradually until the shape is formed. This creates a lighter steel with superior strength.

Supplied with a top and bottom rail to connect the pales and keep them secure. The top rail is fitted with little spikes to prevent people from gripping the top rail and climbing over. All of our bolts are anti-tamper and are designed to shear off when reach a certain torque. This makes it incredibly difficult for people to unscrew the bolts to get through the fencing.

What is the difference between the types of Pales?

The Palisade Fencing consists of ‘w’ section pales. The ‘w’ shape profile makes the Palisade Fencing pales difficult to grip. We have three types of Palisade Pales. Our most intimidating is our triple pointed pales, which consist of three spikes at the top of the pales. These three spikes are excellent theft deterrents as its very difficult to climb and could cause injuries if attempted.

Our single point pales are a single sharp point which makes climbing very difficult and this point can cause damage to the person or their clothing if they attempt to climb.

Our final pale is our round and notched pale which is a pale which is rounded at the top and is notched. It is less intimidating than the other pales, and as it is rounded, it would not cause any damage. It’s more suitable for places that need a low level of security fencing and a less intimidating appearance.

What is included in 2.4m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit?

What is the difference between Bolt down and Dig in posts?

Dig in or bolt down posts are both available with this kit. Dig in posts are designed to be installed into soft ground areas such as grassland. Don’t forget your Post Mix which is used to secure dig in posts into the ground. Bolt down posts are designed to be installed into hard ground surfaces such as concrete. The bolt down posts come with a base plate which is pre-drilled with 4 holes. Ground anchors are used to secure the post in place into the ground.

Also, remember to order an additional post kit if your fencing does not join back on itself.

Installation requirements vary based on ground suitability. Installation guides are given as a recommendation only and show the maximum requirements for post holes for dig in systems as well as standard bolt holes for bolt down systems. Please refer to your installer for suitable installation requirements for your site and fence style.
