2.4m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate

You can use this 2.4m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate, along with your Palisade Security Fencing System, to allow large vehicles to access a site when permitted to do so. At 10.0m wide, this palisade gate is ideal for vans and lorries to drive through. As well as allowing access to maintain a steady and uninterrupted workflow, this gate also keeps your premises extremely secure. It is made up of two gate leaves which join in the middle when they are closed. To secure the gate leaves in place the drop bolts should be slotted into the ground, and the sliding latch bolt shifted across. The gate may also be locked completely by a Heavy-Duty Padlock, adding extra security to your palisade fencing and gate, which can be ordered from the customisation section at the top of this page.

This palisade gate can be erected in various locations, but it is generally used for areas requiring high levels of security. It can also be constructed on many different ground types, although the ground you construct your security fencing and palisade gate upon will ultimately determine which posts are appropriate to use. This is due to the fact that Dig-In Posts are designed for soft ground types and Bolt Down Posts are designed for harder ground types; so it is vital that you take this into consideration before construction. Gate Post types can be selected when placing your order.

Features & Manufacture

With a high level of strength and resilience, this 2.4m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can offer substantial security and protection. It is manufactured from quality cold-rolled steel, which means that it is thinner but still very strong. There are a number of pales that appear within the palisade gate frame, and each of these is designed in a way to help prevent intruders from climbing over the gate. First of all, the profile of the pales is ‘W’ in shape, which makes them hard to grip. Secondly, they each feature either a Round and Notched, Round, Single Pointed, Triple Pointed or Flat top design, which helps to hinder any scaling attempts. The palisade gate is provided with a protective galvanised finish to help prevent the formation of rust. This galvanised finish conforms to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and consists of the application of a zinc coating. You can also opt to have your gate polyester powder coated in any RAL colour. By choosing this type of finish, your palisade gate will become more colourful as well as being better protected from factors such as damage, general wear and corrosion. All 2.4m x 10.0m double leaf palisade gates will be supplied galvanised and with triple pointed pales. This can be modified by selecting alternative options from the customisation section located above

Gate Kit

You will receive your 2.4m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate as an assembly kit, where you will be given the right quantity of each item. Your kit will include a sliding latch bolt and gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System, along with posts, hinges, pales, fixing bolts and drop bolts. However, there will not be any Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts within your kit, so please order this separately if required.
