Product Description

2.4m High 'W' Section Powder Coated Palisade Security Fencing Kit

This 2.4m high Palisade Security Fencing is most commonly used for areas that require high to medium security fencing. It is designed for permanent installation and can be sited on hard ground like concrete or on a softer base like grass. It is a very tough and hard-wearing product and is an ideal security solution for factories and other commercial buildings, as well as outdoor areas used by the public.

Please note that our Palisade range does not come pre-assembled, and the components will need to be assembled on-site. For more information, please read our installation guide.

What are the key features of Palisade Fencing?

Manufactured from cold rolled steel, this Palisade Fencing features a galvanised finish through the application of a zinc coating, which helps to prevent rust and guard against other corrosion and damage. The Palisade is also given a powder coated finish for extra steel protection, this gives a more visible, professional, and aesthetically pleasing look to your fencing run. You can request your 2.4m high Palisade Fencing in a green, blue, grey, brown, or black powder coating finish.

Each pale used within this 2.4m high Palisade Fencing kit is made from steel and has a ‘W’ shaped profile, which makes it difficult to grip onto. We have three pale types available. Triple pointed pales are the most intimidating pales as they have three spikes at the top which are very difficult to grip or climb over. Our single point pales are the second most intimidating as they have a single sharp spike. Our final pale is the round and notched pale which is where the pale has a rounded top and a notched just below.

What is included in 2.4m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit?

Our 2.4m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit contains the following items:

  • 1x Palisade fencing Post (Dig In or Bolt Down Available)
  • 17 x 'W' Section Palisade Fencing Pales (Triple Pointed, Single Point and Round & Notched available)
  • 1 x Palisade Fencing Top Rail
  • 1 x Palisade Fencing Bottom Rail
  • 2 x Palisade Fencing Fishplates
  • 4 x M12 x 30mm Bolts & Shear Nuts
  • 34 x M8 x 25mm Bolts & Shear Nuts

What ground types can Palisade fencing be installed on?

Our Palisade fencing is available with either dig in or bolt down posts. Dig in posts are usually used for soft ground, such as grass. These posts are dug into the ground, and then post mix is used to secure them in place.

Alternatively, if you have a hard ground surface, bolt down posts are usually used as they can be bolted down to the concrete with ground anchor bolts. We have a selection of different ground anchor bolts, including our standard m16 x 125mm or our resin ground anchors.

Installing Palisade Fencing around the perimeter of your site will help to maintain the security of your premises, as well as keep staff and equipment safe. It is a highly durable security solution and is often installed around industrial sites, museums, and high-security buildings.

Installation requirements vary based on ground suitability. Installation guides are given as a recommendation only and show the maximum requirements for post holes for dig in systems, as well as standard bolt holes for bolt down systems. Please refer to your installer for suitable installation requirements for your site and fence style.
