2.4m High EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Kit
Product Description
2.4m High EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Kit
The 2.4m High EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Kit is an innovative, environmentally conscious boundary solution developed by First Fence. Combining a clean, modern appearance with a strong and durable construction, EnviroRail® is ideal for sites that require effective perimeter demarcation without high-security fencing.
Features & Benefits
EnviroRail® Flat Top Railings are suitable for a wide range of applications, including parks, gardens, recreational areas, schools and landscaped spaces. The discreet design blends easily into its surroundings while providing a clear and effective boundary.
The system is manufactured using a low-weld production process, reducing reliance on energy-intensive welding. Laser-cut, pre-galvanised steel components interlock securely and are assembled using a simple pressing mechanism, creating strong connections while keeping the system lightweight and easy to handle.
The 2.4m High EnviroRail® panel is 2900mm wide and forms part of a range of railing heights. Matching EnviroRail® Gates are also available, allowing you to create a consistent and cohesive perimeter.
The hollow tubular steel sections provide excellent strength while keeping the overall weight down, making the system easier to transport and install.
Durable Finish
Each EnviroRail® kit is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel for long-term protection against rust and corrosion. For further protection and a customised appearance, the railings can be finished with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a wide range of RAL colours.
Installation Options
The 2.4m High EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Kit is available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts to suit different ground conditions.
- Dig-in posts: Suitable for softer ground where holes can be excavated. Post Mix is recommended, with two bags per post.
- Bolt-down posts: Ideal for hard surfaces such as concrete. Posts are secured using four M16 x 125mm Ground Anchor Bolts per post.
Each kit includes a railing panel, post and the fixings required for assembly.
Applications
EnviroRail® Flat Top Railings are well suited to:
- Schools and educational facilities: Creating boundaries around playgrounds and outdoor learning areas.
- Parks and recreational spaces: Providing clear, attractive perimeter demarcation.
- Gardens and landscaping: Protecting lawns, flower beds and planted areas.
- Public spaces: Guiding pedestrian movement and defining restricted areas.
How to Step Your Panel
When installing the railing on a gradient, panels can be stepped to follow the change in level.
- Drill a 6mm pilot hole where the new cleat is required, based on the gradient.
- Increase the hole to 12mm to accommodate the M10 bolt.
- Touch up and spray the drilled area if required.
- Secure the cleat using the M10 x 80mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut
- Attach the railing panel following the standard installation guidance.
Please ensure the correct spacing is maintained in line with the existing hole centres on the posts.
Complete Your Railing System
Create a complete perimeter with matching EnviroRail® Gates, available in single and double leaf configurations. For additional gate security, Heavy Duty Padlocks and Locking Drop Bolts are also available.
First Fence also offers a wider range of standard and EnviroRail® railing systems to suit different applications and height requirements.
