2.4m High Double Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate Kit
A versatile, strong and cost-effective solution for adding a double leaf gate system to your fence or railing perimeter systems. The 2.4m high double leaf standard vertical bar railing gates are available in a wide range of widths from 2.0m all the way up to 10.0m, allowing these gates to be used for a wide range of applications including garden railing gates, driveway gates, or even for use in public spaces such as parks and schools to provide access for either pedestrians or vehicles.
Each of these standard double leaf vertical bar gates has been constructed to our highest standards by a dedicated team of expert fabricators to ensure that these gates are built to last. To ensure a high level of strength, superb quality galvanised steel has been used, the zinc coating of which provides a protective barrier against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
To prevent the gate leafs from opening when the gate is not in use, the 2.4m high double leaf vertical bar railing gates are supplied with a catch gate leaf and a sliding latch gate leaf. By preventing the gate leafs from opening when not in use, it can prevent damage to the hinges, any nearby property as well as prevent injury to gate users or passers-by. The gate latches can also be locked in place with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately), preventing access by unauthorised people.
As well as the sliding latch and catch, each gate is supplied with two drop bolts. With each gate leaf able to be opened and closed independently of one another, either leaf or both leafs can be held open safely for extended periods of time to allow full access or to limit entry and exit. As with the catch and latch, these drop bolts can help to prevent damage to the gate or injuries to gate users.
To allow these gates to be installed in as many different locations as possible, these 2.4m high vertical bar metal gates are available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.
- Bolt down posts: The bolt-down posts are suitable for locations where it might not be possible to dig holes for cost or logistical reasons. This type of post has a base plate which allows ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to bolt the posts securely to the ground surface.
- Dig in posts: Dig-in posts are ideal for areas where the ground surface is soft enough for holes to be easily dug. This type of post is longer than the bolt down variant which allows the posts to be placed into the holes and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately).

As standard, each of these excellent quality 2.4m vertical bar double leaf metal railings has been finished with a high-quality zinc galvanised coating. These coatings provide a protective barrier against weathering and give each gate a great-looking silver finish.
However, if a more colourful finish for your steel vertical bar railing gates is required, it is possible to order them with a high-quality and professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These finishes are available in a range of RAL colours and provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against rust and corrosion.

In the event that the Polyester Powder Coatings should become damaged in some way, it is possible to quickly and easily restore the coatings and the protection that they provide with the use of a touch up spray can.
