2.1m x 5.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 2.1m x 5.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is really useful for creating a vehicle access point for cars, forklifts and small vans. It is easy to install and can be integrated into Palisade Security Fencing structures which also stand 2.1m high. Installing this palisade gate with your security fencing will enable you to grant authorised access when required, as well as keep your premises protected from intrusion. To secure the gate when it is closed you should shift the sliding latch bolt across and then slot to two drop bolts into the ground. You can also provide your palisade fencing and gate with extra security by using a Heavy-Duty Padlock to lock the sliding latch bolt in place. To obtain a Heavy-Duty Padlock, please select it from the customisation section above.
This palisade gate is suitable for areas which require a medium level of security, due to its 2.1m height. Before beginning construction of this gate and your palisade security fencing, you must first consider the ground type on which you will assemble them, as this factor will influence which type of gate posts you will need to use. To construct this gate on hard ground surfaces you will require Bolt Down posts, however if you construct this palisade fencing and gate on a softer ground surface you will therefore require Dig-In posts. You can choose the correct posts for your gate when placing your order at the top of this page.

Features & Manufacture
Made from high-quality cold-rolled steel, this 2.1m x 5.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can offer great strength, stability and resilience. It is given a galvanised finish which complies with BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards. This finish consists of the application of an effective zinc coating in order to help prevent rust from developing on the steel. We also give you the opportunity to polyester powder coat your palisade gate within the customisation section. This type of finish will provide the gate with better protection from damage and corrosion, along with giving it a more colourful and bolder appearance. These options can also be found when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
This 2.1m x 5.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is also designed to make climbing attempts very difficult, so the security of your site remains intact. Each pale that features within the palisade gate’s construction is moulded into a ‘W’ shaped profile to restrict anyone from gripping them. You can also choose from a Single Pointed, Triple Pointed, Round and Notched, Round or Flat design for the tops of the pales. Round and Flat pale types are less imposing and are safer for areas like schools and parks; however, pointed pales are more intimidating and work better in high security areas where theft deterrence is required. All of these customisable options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
We sell all of our 2.1m x 5.0m double leaf gates with triple pointed pales and a galvanised finish as standard. You can modify the gate features by selecting from the customisation options above.
Gate Kit
Our 2.1m x 5.0m Double Leaf palisade Gates are always supplied as a kit. Within your gate kit, you will be provided with the correct quantity of posts, fixing bolts, drop bolts, pales and hinges, along with one sliding latch bolt and the whole gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System. We do not supply any Postfix cement or Ground Anchors within these kits, so they will need to be purchased separately if required.
