2.0m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 2.0m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade can be installed into Palisade Fencing structures of the same height, in order to create an entry point for larger sized vehicles like vans and lorries. By incorporating this type of Palisade Gate within your security fencing, you can successfully manage the accessibility of your site and ensure a constant workflow. This Palisade Gate is made up of two 5.0m wide gate leaves which; when opened together, create a vehicle access space that is 10.0m wide and suitable for two lanes of traffic to drive through at any time. To ensure the security and protection of your site, this Palisade Gate is secured by shifting across the sliding latch bolt and by lowering the two drop bolts into the ground. A Heavy-Duty Padlock can also be used for additional gate security and this is available from the customisation section above.
Standing 2.0m high, this Palisade Gate is considered to be more appropriate for areas which do not have a high security risk. This 10.0m wide Palisade Gate is really versatile and can be used in a variety of different places. Dig-In Posts will be required for gates built on soft ground, whereas Bolt Down Posts will be required for gates assembled on hard ground.
Features and Manufacture
Strong, stable and resilient, this Double Leaf Palisade Gate can offer substantial security on a permanent and long-term basis. Made from cold rolled steel, the Palisade Gate is thinner yet still very strong. It is also provided with a protective galvanised finish which complies with the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. By applying this type of finish your Palisade Gate is able to become more rust-resistant. We also give you the opportunity to request a Polyester Powder Coating finish for your gate. By opting for this type of finish, your steel security gate is supplied with better protection against damage and weathering effects. Polyester Powder Coating is available in a variety of RAL colours and be requested as a customisation option.
A great feature of this palisade gate is its hard-to-climb design. Each pale used in the gate’s construction has a profile that is ‘W’ in shape, which effectively restricts people from gripping onto them with their hands and feet so they cannot climb over. The tops of the pales also help to hinder climbing attempts through their clever design.
All 2.0m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates are supplied with a galvanised finish and will feature triple pointed pales. However, if you require your Palisade Gate to feature an alternative finish or different pale types you can select other customisation options.
Gate Kit
We supply all of our Palisade Gates as a kit. In this kit you will be provided with all the required components needed to assemble this gate. Please note that we do not supply any Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts within our gate kits so please purchase this separately if required.
