2.0m High EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Kit
The 2.0m High EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Kit provides a clean, contemporary solution for defining boundaries, guiding pedestrian traffic and protecting public and green spaces.
Designed by First Fence, EnviroRail® uses an environmentally conscious manufacturing process that reduces the need for energy-intensive welding. Tailor-made, laser-cut, pre-galvanised components are pressed together to create strong, secure connections, offering a durable alternative to traditionally manufactured railing systems.
Features & Benefits
The sleek flat-top design is well suited to areas where clear boundary definition is required without the imposing appearance of high-security fencing. Typical applications include:
- Parks and recreational areas: Define boundaries and protect green spaces.
- Schools: Create clear perimeters around playgrounds and outdoor areas.
- Gardens and landscaping: Protect lawns, flower beds and planted areas.
- Public spaces: Guide pedestrians and separate different areas safely.
Each panel is 2900mm wide and manufactured from pre-galvanised steel hollow tubes. The tubular construction provides excellent strength while keeping the panels lightweight and easier to handle, transport and install.
The railing is designed to complement the matching EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate, helping create a consistent and professional perimeter.
Dig-In or Bolt-Down Installation
The kits are available with dig-in or bolt-down posts, allowing installation across different ground conditions.
- Dig-in posts: Designed for soft ground and secured using Post Mix. We recommend two bags per post.
- Bolt-down posts: Suitable for solid surfaces such as concrete. Four M16 x 125mm Ground Anchor Bolts are required per post and are sold separately.
Galvanised & Powder-Coated Finish
The steel is pre-galvanised for protection against corrosion and can be finished with a durable Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a range of RAL colours. This provides an additional protective layer while allowing you to create a finish that complements the surrounding environment.
Matching EnviroRail® gates are also available, including single and double leaf options. Heavy-Duty Padlocks and Locking Drop Bolts can also be used to enhance gate security.
How to Step Your Panel
When installing panels on sloping or uneven ground:
- Drill a 6mm pilot hole at the required cleat position, based on the gradient.
- Open the hole to 12mm to accommodate the M10 bolts.
- Touch up and spray the drilled area if required.
- Secure the cleat using the appropriate M10 Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut. Use M10 x 70mm fixings for 0.9m–1.2m systems or M10 x 80mm fixings for 1.5m–2.4m systems.
- Attach the railing panel following the standard installation guidance.
Please note: Ensure all spacing relationships follow the existing hole centres in the posts.
