You can incorporate this 1.8m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate into a Palisade Fencing structure of the same height, so that small, medium and large vehicles are able to pass in and out of a site when required. Opening to a total width of 8.0m, this Palisade Gate is suitable for lorries and vans; although it may also be used for the access of small vehicles and pedestrians if needed. In addition to supplying an access point, this Palisade Gate also provides security to your premises when closed. To secure the Palisade Gate, there is a sliding latch bolt within the gate handle, as well as two drop bolts which lower into the ground to prevent the gate from being opened without permission. To supply your Palisade Gate with even more protection, you can use a Heavy-Duty Padlock.

Standing 1.8m high, this Palisade Gate is considered to be more appropriate for areas which have a lower security risk. The Palisade Gate can be constructed in a variety of locations and on many different types of ground. If you fix your Palisade Gate down onto hard ground, you will need to use Bolt Down posts. Otherwise, if you erect this security gate on soft ground, you will be required to use Dig-In posts.

Features and Manufacture

This 1.8m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is made out of quality steel and offers a high level of strength due to the cold rolling process which is used for its manufacture. Cold rolling makes the steel lighter in weight but still allows it to remain very strong. This Palisade Gate also offers great durability, and this is due its galvanised finish. Galvanisation consists of a zinc coating being applied to the steel to make it better protected from the development of rust. All galvanised finishes comply with BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards. You may also wish to provide your Palisade gate with extra protection and durability by requesting a Polyester Powder Coating. This type of finish helps to protect your Palisade Gate from corrosion and wear and tear, as well supplying your security gate with a bolder appearance.

This Palisade Gate offers security to your site and helps to prevent any potential intruders gaining access to your premises and stock. Each pale that features within the Palisade Gate is designed to make climbing very difficult. Possessing a ‘W’ shaped profile, the palisade pales are hard to grip onto or gain a foothold on, so climbing opportunities are greatly limited. Along with this, the top of each pale is also designed to limit and often deter potential intruders from climbing over the gate. Please note that all 1.8m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates will automatically be supplied with triple pointed pales and a galvanised finish, unless altered by customisation options above.

Gate Kit

When you order a Palisade Gate you will be provided with all the necessary parts and fixtures within an assembly kit. Your kit will contain the correct quantity of pales, posts fixing bolts and drop bolts, along with a sliding latch bolt, hinge and complete gate frame to go with your Palisade Fencing system. We will not provide any Postfix cement within your kit, however, so please add this to your shopping cart if required.
