1.8m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 1.8m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate functions as an access point for vehicles like forklifts and cars. This Palisade Gate enables you to manage your site’s accessibility, along with securing your premises when it is not in use. When the Palisade Gate is closed it will effectively merge with the surrounding Palisade Fencing structure and should be secured by the sliding latch bolt and the two drop bolts that feature in the lower section of the security gate. You may wish to provide your Palisade Fencing Gate with extra security, in which case you can request a Heavy-Duty Padlock. This Palisade Gate consists of two 2.0m gate leaves which open to create a driving space which is 4.0m wide. At 1.8m high, this type of Palisade Gate is more suited to areas which do not require a high level of security.
This Palisade Gate offers great stability and is extremely versatile. It can be assembled in numerous locations and on various ground surfaces. To install this Palisade gate on hard ground types, you will require Bolt Down Posts. Otherwise, if you install this gate on softer types of ground then you will require Dig-In Posts with Postfix cement to set them.

Features & Manufacture
Cold rolled steel is used for the manufacture of this 4.0m wide Double Leaf Palisade Gate. It is very strong and robust and has the ability to withstand weather conditions like strong winds. The pales that feature within the construction of this Palisade Gate and Palisade Fencing are designed to restrict intrusion and maximise safety as much as possible. Climbing is greatly restricted through the ‘W’ shape profile of the pales as it is hard for anyone to grip onto.
This Palisade Gate is also supplied with a galvanised finish which conforms to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard and consists of a zinc coating being applied to help prevent rusting. As this Palisade Gate can be vulnerable to damage and weathering, we also offer a protective polyester powder coating finish for your gate, which will supply colour to the gate. 1.8m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates are supplied with Triple Pointed pales along with a galvanised finish as standard; however, if you require alternative types of pales or a Polyester Powder Coating finish you can select these in the gate customisation section above.
Gate Kit
All of our Palisade Gates will be supplied as a kit complete with all the required components for assembly. Within these kits you will receive the correct number of pales, drop bolts, posts and fixing bolts, as well as a hinge, a sliding latch bolt and the complete gate frame to fit into your Palisade Fencing system. If required, you will need to buy Postfix cement separately, as this will not be provided as part of your kit.
