1.8m High Single Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate Kit
Providing a fantastic looking access point to your garden, business or public spaces, these 1.8m high single leaf standard vertical bar railing gates are a strong and versatile choice. This range of single leaf gates is available in widths ranging from 2.0m to 5.0m allowing them to be used for a range of applications including pedestrian and vehicle access.
Made from superb quality galvanised steel to our exceedingly high standards by our team of expert fabricators. These strong and robust gates have been built to last, with a zinc galvanised coating providing a protective coating against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
To secure these 1.8m high single leaf vertical bar railing gates when not in use, each kit is supplied with a sliding latch leaf and catch post. The latch can be further secured, preventing unwanted people from opening the gate with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately). These gates are also supplied with a drop bolt, which can be used to hold the gate open for extended periods of time. It can also be used to further secure the gate closed when it is not in use.
To allow these metal railing gates to be installed in a wide range of locations, they are available with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts are the ideal choice when installing these vertical bar gates on soft ground types where holes can easily be dug. This type of post is longer than the bolt down versions which allows a section of the post to be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)
Bolt down posts – Bolt down posts are suited towards locations where the ground may have been covered with concrete or another hard surface which would make digging holes either impractical or costly. This type of post has a base plate which allows ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to hold each post securely in place.
Each gate kit includes:
- 1 x Sliding latch gate leaf
- 1 x Catch gate post
- 1 x Hinge gate post
- 2 x Adjustable gate eye
- 1 x Drop bolt
Customise your gate with a PPC finish
Each of these high quality metal single leaf gates are finished with a zinc galvanised coating as standard. This coating gives the gates a layer of protection against rust and corrosion whilst also providing these metal vertical bar railing gates with a fantastic looking silver finish.
It is also possible to order these gates with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These hard wearing coatings are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing them to either blend in with their environment, or create an eye catching entrance and exit point. These coatings don’t just look great, but provide the steel with another layer of defence against weathering and rust.

In the unfortunate event that the powder coatings should become damaged in some way, either through installation or general wear and tear, easy to use spray cans are available.
