The 1.8m High Mesh Receiver Gate Post is a premium-quality component from our Apollo range of mesh gate systems, offering durability, security, and long-lasting performance. Designed to work seamlessly with Apollo mesh gates, it forms part of a strong and secure boundary system suitable for a wide variety of environments, including schools, colleges, commercial sites, and industrial facilities.
Crafted from pre-galvanised steel, this receiver post features a zinc coating that protects against rust and corrosion, ensuring exceptional longevity even in demanding outdoor conditions. It is then finished with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC), which not only improves weather resistance but also gives the post a clean, professional appearance. Available in standard green (RAL 6005) or black (RAL 9005), this durable coating enhances protection against damage, scratches, and vandalism while complementing your fencing line.
For customers seeking a more tailored look, this post can also be supplied in other RAL colours upon request. These bespoke finishes are ideal for matching existing branding, architectural themes, or specific site colour schemes. Please note that lead times may vary for custom colours.
The 1.8m mesh receiver gate post can be installed in two ways, dig-in or bolt-down, depending on your ground conditions.
For soft ground, we recommend using post mix to securely fix the post in place.
For hard surfaces, a bolt-down version is available. When installing this option, you’ll need M16 x 125mm ground anchors, which can be purchased separately.
This flexibility makes the post suitable for a wide range of site conditions, ensuring stability and long-term performance.
The receiver post is designed for use with Apollo mesh gates, providing a reliable locking point and strengthening your perimeter’s access control. Mesh panels can be fixed directly to the front of the post, maintaining a consistent and professional appearance throughout the fencing system. Ribbed inserts, post mix, and fixings are sold separately. This gate post is specifically designed for our Apollo mesh gate systems, and compatibility with other manufacturers’ gates cannot be guaranteed. Always ensure the correct box section is selected for your chosen gate leaf width.
