Ribbed Insert Post Caps
These ribbed insert post caps have been manufactured from polyethylene and are designed to preserve and safeguard the ends of metal box section fence posts.
The inserts have smooth, rounded corners which give a good level of safety to the tube ends. Fence panels made from galvanised steel can sometimes have sharp edges, by using ribbed inserts you will cover these edges, and this can help offset any potential accidents occurring to pedestrians and workers.
The lifespan of the metal posts is increased as the inserts prevent water from entering and collecting inside the tube. The benefit of this is that protection is offered from rust and other corrosion that results from permanent outdoor use.
