1.8m High 656 Twin Mesh Security Fencing Kit
Twin wire mesh fencing systems are an ideal fencing solution for sites that require a high-security perimeter fencing. It also offers a higher level of safety for children and young people than other types of fencing such as palisade. This twin wire mesh comprises of 5mm diameter vertical steel wires which are pressed between two twin 6mm diameter steel horizontal wires running parallel to each other. This twin mesh design makes this type of fencing incredibly difficult to cut through, not only this but it makes climbing over also difficult to prevent any potential intruders from gaining access to your site.
This type of fencing is available with two different types of post, dig in or bolt down. Dig in posts are fairly common and require holes to be dug and filled with post-mix (sold separately) to support the post. Bolt down posts have been designed with a base plate which can be bolted down to strong solid ground such as concrete using anchor bolts (sold separately) to hold the post securely. This type of bolt is ideal when it is not feasible to dig holes for posts, for example in a car park.
Our Mesh Privacy Strips are a great addition to any Mesh Fencing System as it will allow for increased privacy to your site, we have this available in green or black. Mesh fastening clips are clipped to the end of the privacy strip to make it more visually appealing and to increase security by preventing people from removing the strip.
Finish
Our twin mesh fencing has been pre-galvanised, and powder coated in a RAL colour as standard. This fencing can be supplied in a wide range of custom and standard RAL colours (lead times may vary). Having this dual layer of protection offers this mesh fencing a long lifespan with added protection from weathering and other forms of external damage such as vandalism.
Purchasing a torque bit is highly recommended as they are required when installing our mesh fencing systems and have been specifically designed to fit the bolts which are included in our mesh fencing kits.
