Privacy Fencing Roll End Fastening Clip - Pack of 20

Twin Mesh is a very popular form of fencing and has all kinds of applications including industrial and residential. It is a great choice giving a long-lasting method of demarcation, however there are times when privacy becomes important. In such cases, Privacy Fencing Rolls turn your standard mesh fencing into a much more secluded type of fencing system.

Designed to be attached to existing mesh fencing systems the flexible polypropylene strips simply weave through the mesh fencing wires and protect your garden and property from unwanted prying eyes and, additionally, visually enhance your fence line. They form a barrier that will obscure the view from outside, giving a feeling of retreat to those living within while also acting as a deterrent to potential intruders by concealing the contents of your property. By adding privacy screening you can enjoy your outdoor space in peace and quiet.

Available from First Fence in a choice of Moss Green (RAL 6005) and Anthracite (RAL 7016), the privacy strips have a smooth texture that is UV and weather-resistant and require very little maintenance once in place.

How to use

To fasten the loose ends of your Privacy Fencing Roll we recommend using End Fastening Clips. These will secure the roll to the wire and will give a lovely, neat finish to your fencing screen. These PVC plastic mounting clips measure 190mm x 15mm and have a tear-drop shaped profile that allows you to capture the privacy roll end and mount it firmly to the upright mesh wire. These fastening clips are compatible with mesh with Ø 5mm or 6mm.

Cut the privacy strips as straight as possible as this will make it easier to attach the end fastening clip to the upright wires. Hold the privacy strip firmly against the fencing to keep it from moving while you place the end clip. Start at the bottom of the strip. At an angle push the clip over the upright mesh wire ensuring you capture the fabric of the privacy roll, then push the rest of the clip down the wire until the clip is fully attached.

These privacy protection clips are available in black or green. Each pack contains 20 mounting clips which will be sufficient for 12 privacy strips (one for each end of the strip).

It is recommended that you weave the privacy fencing roll along the full length of the fencing run and use the end fasteners at the beginning and end of the fencing run, rather than fixing to each individual bay. This will cut down on how many clips you need but also will keep the roll tight and this length will mean it cannot be pulled out easily.
