1.2m Wide Pedestrian Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate Kit
A stylish, strong and cost-effective solution for adding a 1.2m wide pedestrian access to your vertical bar fencing perimeter. These high-quality metal gates are available in heights ranging from 1.0m to 2.4m, allowing them to fit into any new or existing railing systems.
These stylish 1.2m pedestrian gates are ideal for use in a wide range of outdoor applications, such as creating access to the front or back garden of a home, to providing pedestrian access to public spaces such as parks or playgrounds.
Each of the gates have been made by our professional fabrication team from superb quality galvanised steel. The zinc galvanised coatings provide the steel with a protective layer against the damaging effects of weathering and rust and leaving the gates with a fantastic silver finish.
The 1.2m wide pedestrian standard vertical bar railing gates are supplied with gate leafs which feature a sliding bolt. This can be used to keep the gate securely closed when not in use. This slider can also be used to lock the gate with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately)
So that these gates can be installed in a wide range of locations, these vertical bar gate kits are available with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts – This post type is ideal for locations where there is soft ground in which holes can be easily dug. These posts have been made to be longer than their bolt down variants, allowing a section of the post to be placed into the hole and held securely in place with the use of post mix (sold separately).
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts have been designed for use in locations where digging holes may not be possible due to cost or complications with digging up the surface. These posts are supplied with base plates which allow ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be bolted into the ground surface.

Customise your gates with a PPC finish
Each gate, as standard is finished with a high-quality galvanised zinc finish. This coating provides a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation, whilst also providing the gate with a fantastic silver look.
However, if you’re looking for a splash of colour to add to your railing system, the 1.2m wide pedestrian standard vertical bar gates are available to order in a range of professionally applied Polyester Powder Coatings (PPC). These coatings are available in a range of RAL colours (lead times may apply) to either blend in with their surroundings or make a bright and eye-catching addition to your perimeter.
These coatings not only look great, but also provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against rust and corrosion.

Add additional safety to your gates with a gate restrainer
Whilst simple in appearance, a gate restrainer provides a highly important safety function which can greatly reduce accidents and injury from occurring. A gate restrainer is attached to the post and the gate leaf, providing an incredibly strong restraint system in the unlikely event of the gate hinges failing. By preventing the gate from dropping, it prevents injuries from occurring due to the gate dropping and falling on to someone.
