1.0m Wide Pedestrian Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate kit

Available in a range of heights from 1.0m to 2.4m, these classically stylish vertical bar 1.0m wide pedestrian gates are ideal for creating securable pedestrian access points to home gardens, parks or educational facilities such as colleges or universities.

Each gate has been expertly made to our highest possible standards using high quality galvanised steel, so they are sure to remain strong and free of rust and corrosion for years.

Each gate is supplied with a sliding bolt, which is used to hold the gate shut when not in use. These sliders can be secured with the use of a heavy duty padlock (sold separately) to prevent unauthorised access.

To allow these gates to be installed in as many locations as possible, the 1.0m wide pedestrian vertical bar railing gate is available to order with either dig in or bolt down posts.

Dig in posts – Dig in posts are suited to areas where holes can easily be dug. These posts are longer than the bolt down variant, to allow a section of the post to be placed into the hole and held securely in place with post mix (sold separately).

Bolt down posts – Bolt down posts are designed for use in locations which may have been surfaced with concrete, making digging holes impractical and expensive. These posts are supplied with a base plate attached, allowing for ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to secure the post to the ground surface.

Each gate kit includes:

• 1 x Sliding gate leaf
• 1 x Catch gate post
• 1 x Hinge gate post
• 2 x Adjustable gate eyes

Customise your gate with PPC

If something more colourful is required, to either allow these gates to blend into their surroundings or to make a bright and eye-catching entry or exit point, they can be ordered with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating. These finishes are available in a range of RAL colours, and as well as making the gates more visually appealing, they also provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
