The Apollo 1.5m High x 2.5m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit is a strong and reliable gate, perfect for areas where wide pedestrian access is needed. It is made to match twin wire mesh fencing systems but also works well with other types like V mesh and Safe Top mesh. This gate is ideal for schools, parks, sports areas, commercial spaces, and other places where safety and good access are important.
This single leaf gate is built with 868 twin mesh, which means it has 6mm vertical wires crossed by two 8mm horizontal wires. This mesh pattern makes the gate very strong and hard to cut or climb, helping to keep the area secure. The wire spacing also allows clear visibility, so you can easily see through the gate, which is useful for safety and supervision.
The gate is 2.5 metres wide, giving plenty of space for people to walk through, including those pushing trolleys, wheelbarrows, or small equipment. This makes it ideal for busy areas or where wide access is required. The frame of the gate has mitred corners for extra strength, helping the gate stay strong and stable even with regular use.
Made from pre-galvanised steel, the gate is protected against rust. It is also powder coated to give it a smooth, colourful finish that adds even more protection. The powder coating comes in a range of colours, so you can choose a look that fits in with the rest of your fencing or your site’s colours.
This gate kit is easy to install and comes with everything you need, except for post mix (if digging in) or ground anchor bolts (if bolting down). You can choose from bolt down or dig in posts, depending on the ground where the gate will be placed. The gate can also be hung to open either left or right, giving flexibility during installation.
The gate comes with a modular sliding latch that you can lock with a padlock. If you need more security, it is easy to upgrade the gate to use a digital lock or a quick-exit digital lock, giving you more control over who enters or exits the area.
