The Apollo 3.0m High x 7.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit offers an outstanding combination of strength, safety, and visibility, designed specifically for sites that require wide vehicle access with a secure and durable perimeter. The Apollo range is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 standards and finished with a high-quality Polyester Powder Coating to BS EN 13438, available in a choice of RAL colours to suit your site's branding or visual preferences. This durable coating protects against corrosion and extends the lifespan of the gate, even in harsh outdoor conditions.

For additional safety, the Apollo 3.0m x 7.0m double leaf gates have a 3 hinge design per gate leaf. This meets the standards set out by BS EN 12604 and the DHF for preventing a gate leaf from falling in the unlikely event of a single hinge failure.

Built with 868 twin mesh panels, the gate comprises 6mm vertical wires welded between two robust 8mm horizontal wires. This configuration not only improves rigidity but also offers anti-climb properties and resistance to cutting or vandalism. The narrow apertures enhance safety and make it difficult to gain a foothold, while still allowing excellent visibility—ideal for locations using CCTV surveillance. Additionally, the Apollo design includes mitred corners for added strength and a more refined finish.

Functionally, the gate includes a sliding latch bolt which can be secured using a padlock, or upgraded with digital locks or panic escape hardware for enhanced access control. Each gate leaf is fitted with a drop bolt, allowing you to hold the gate open securely during busy periods. The 180° opening range of the adjustable hinges provides maximum flexibility when installing in tight or complex spaces.

The Apollo gate is available with both dig-in or bolt-down posts, depending on your installation surface. For softer ground such as grass or clay, dig-in posts are recommended. On harder surfaces like concrete, bolt-down posts with suitable ground anchor bolts are the best option. Please note that post mix and ground anchors are sold separately.

This gate is fully compatible with a range of mesh fencing systems, including  V Mesh, Twin Mesh, and Safe Top Mesh, allowing you to maintain a consistent and secure perimeter. For attaching the gate to your fence line, you will require M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh clips, available separately.
