The Apollo 3.0m High x 2.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit is a robust and versatile access solution designed for use in a wide range of low to medium security environments. Standing at an impressive 3.0 metres in height, this gate offers an ideal combination of security, durability, and controlled access, making it a reliable choice for sites such as schools, sports grounds, industrial buildings, warehouses, utility sites, and recreational facilities.
At the core of this gate’s construction is the highly secure 868 twin mesh system, made from 6mm vertical wires welded between two 8mm horizontal wires. This close-knit wire configuration creates a rigid, anti-climb surface that is difficult to cut through, while still maintaining clear visibility. It’s a practical option for locations where surveillance and transparency are just as important as physical protection.
The double leaf design provides a 2.0 metre wide opening, suitable for pedestrian access or smaller vehicle entry, while maintaining the integrity of a tall perimeter. Each gate leaf is engineered with mitred corners to enhance frame strength and add to the clean, professional finish. The gate kit includes hinge and catch posts, drop bolts, adjustable gate eyes, and a sliding latch, which can be secured with a padlock or upgraded to digital locking options, including coded access or quick-exit digital locks, for enhanced site security.
Installation is made flexible with a choice of either bolt down or dig in posts, depending on your site’s ground conditions. The gate is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 and finished with a polyester powder coating to BS EN 13438. This coating is available in a selection of RAL colours, giving you the ability to match the gate with your existing fencing or branding, while also providing excellent corrosion resistance.
The Apollo gate system is modular and fully compatible with a variety of mesh fencing systems, including V mesh, twin mesh, and safe top mesh. This compatibility allows you to integrate the gate seamlessly into your existing perimeter fence, maintaining a uniform and cohesive appearance. If you are attaching this gate to a mesh fencing system, you may require M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh clips, which are available separately.
Please note that this kit includes everything required for gate assembly, excluding ground anchor bolts or post mix, which can be purchased separately. We also offer a full range of mesh fencing accessories to help you customise or expand your fencing solution over time.
