The Apollo 2.4m High x 5.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit is a heavy-duty, professional-grade access solution built for locations requiring both high durability and medium-level security. Manufactured from strong pre-galvanised steel and finished with a protective powder coating, this gate is ideal for controlling access to commercial, public, and educational premises such as schools, business parks, sports grounds, utility sites, and warehouses.
Standing at 2.4 metres tall and offering a combined 5.0 metres of width across both leaves, this gate provides generous clearance for vehicles, plant equipment, or maintenance access, while also maintaining a strong perimeter barrier. The twin wire mesh design is built for resilience, featuring two 8mm horizontal wires welded to each side of a 6mm vertical wire. This sturdy infill is highly resistant to cutting, climbing, and deformation, ensuring long-lasting security and structural integrity even in high-traffic or vulnerable areas.
The gate's framework is expertly constructed with mitred corners for enhanced strength and a clean, refined appearance. The pre-galvanised steel meets BS EN 10346 standards, and the powder-coated finish complies with BS EN 13438, offering excellent resistance to corrosion, wear, and weathering. Available in a selection of standard RAL colours, the finish allows you to match or contrast the gate with your existing fencing or branding.
Functionality is a key advantage of this gate. The twin leaves are fully reversible and can be configured to open inwards or outwards, depending on your site requirements. The gate is supplied with your choice of bolt down or dig in posts to suit different ground conditions. All essential fixtures and fittings are included in the kit, with the exception of post mix or ground anchor bolts, which can be ordered separately.
The Apollo Double Leaf Gate also supports a variety of access control options. A sliding latch is supplied as standard and can be padlocked for general use. For higher security needs, the gate is compatible with digital access locks, push pad emergency exits, and more advanced locking mechanisms.
