The Apollo 2.0m High x 7.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit provides a secure, practical, and highly adaptable access control solution for wide entry points. Engineered for performance and reliability, this double gate is ideal for a wide variety of low to medium security settings such as schools, industrial estates, logistics hubs, sports grounds, parks, and commercial properties.

With a full seven-metre clear opening, this gate accommodates larger vehicles, maintenance machinery, delivery vans, or high-volume pedestrian traffic. Its two-metre height ensures a sufficient security presence while maintaining visibility and compliance with many standard fencing heights used throughout the UK. The gate is manufactured from 868 twin wire mesh, which consists of 6mm vertical wires firmly welded to twin 8mm horizontal wires. This creates a strong and tamper-resistant structure, offering excellent rigidity and resistance to both vandalism and wear.

The open mesh format allows for high visibility through the gate, supporting passive surveillance while preserving site safety. Its tight wire pattern also helps deter climbing, making it a practical choice for safeguarding vulnerable or high-traffic areas.

Each gate leaf is designed with universality in mind, meaning they can be hung to either the left or right side during installation. This flexibility is particularly useful where site constraints or access flow may vary. Please note, post mix (for dig-in installation) or ground anchor bolts (for bolt-down installations) are sold separately.

While it is a perfect match for 868 twin mesh fencing systems, it is also fully compatible with V mesh fencing, 656 twin mesh panels, Safe Top mesh systems, and many other popular mesh configurations. Security features can be tailored to your site’s needs. The gate includes a sliding latch that can be padlocked, and it also supports digital locking options and quick exit locks for environments requiring higher access control or rapid egress in emergencies. 

The gate conforms to BS EN 12604 safety guidelines and the recommendations laid out by the DHF thanks to its triple hinge design. 

Constructed from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 and powder coated to BS 13438, the Apollo gate is protected against corrosion and environmental damage.
