The KR48 Steel Knee Rail features a 48mm diameter top rail welded to two upright, flat posts, eliminating the need for onsite assembly; it is provided as a single bay for quick installation. A 60mm version is also available.
Crafted from high-quality galvanised steel, our knee rail is both versatile and durable. It comes standard with a powder coating in green or black, adding extra protection against rust, corrosion, and chipping.
Engineered for straightforward installation, the steel knee rail is secured into the ground with Post Mix, making it ideal for a wide range of situations and environments. We recommend using one bag of Post Mix for each single post and that 500mm of the post is concreted into the ground. When positioning two bays next to each other, fix the two posts in one, larger hole and use two bags of Post Mix.
No mitring is required, and the system easily handles concave or convex angles without the need for technical skills.
The resilient coating and sturdy build demand little maintenance, saving time and cutting down on maintenance expenses throughout the product's lifespan.
Please note, due to its low height the steel knee rail is easy to step over, however it is not recommended that you attempt to stand or balance on it as this is not part of its design.
First Fence also has a timber knee rail line, for a more traditional look.
