Strong, lightweight and quick to install, these Standard Crowd Control barriers are suitable for a range of applications from creating perimeters around construction sites to walkways for pedestrians at large public events. Suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor conditions, when installed they provide a strong and study barrier perimeter.
Standard Crowd Control Fixed Leg Barriers have been designed to provide a simple and effective way of creating physical boundaries between the general public and hazardous areas where accidents and injuries may occur. They can also be used to create crowd and pedestrian management systems to prevent overcrowding. Each site demarcation barrier measures 2.3m wide and 1.1m high.
Each Barrier has been constructed from high quality galvanised steel, these barriers have been built to last, whilst remaining light enough to move by hand, weighting 8.1 kg per barrier. The galvanised finish provides a protective layer, which helps to protect the steel from the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
Though they may be lightweight, the 2.3m Standard Crowd Control Fixed Leg Barriers are incredibly strong, featuring a bent 38.1mm diameter tube design. This greatly reduces the number of weld points and helps to increase the overall strength.
To keep the weight to a minimum, whilst also increasing strength, the barriers feature 8 infill bars, each measuring 12mm in diameter.
Featuring a fixed leg design, these barriers have their feet permanently attached, which means that there is no need for additional tools or accessories to erect a site demarcation boundary. It also means that feet for the barriers cannot be lost or misplaced.
Fixed Leg Crowd Control Barriers are an incredibly useful health and safety tool which can be used for a range of applications in both indoor and outdoor environments such as
Our Standard Crowd Control Fixed Leg 2.3m Wide Barriers are incredibly quick and easy to install, allowing you to create a complete crowd management system in no time flat. Weighing 8.1kg, they are light enough to be carried and placed into position by hand.
The barriers are then secured in place with welded hook and eye sections which interlock, which not only increases the strength and stability of the barrier system but also prevents the individual barriers from being removed or tampered with.
No additional tools or accessories are required when installing these 2.3m Wide Fixed Leg Barriers as the legs are, as the name suggests, welded in place. This eliminates the risk of feet or fixings becoming lost or damage during, installation, removal, transport, or storage.
There are many benefits to using the Standard Crowd Control Fixed Leg 2.3m Wide Barriers, including:
Each of the Standard Crowd Control Fixed Leg 2.3m Wide Barriers are supplied with a standard galvanised finish. This gives the barriers a silver finish, which may not fit with existing company colours or be aesthetically pleasing in the locations in which these barriers are being erected, which is where PPC finishes come in. PPC (Polyester Powder Coating) is a finish which can be applied to the barriers in a range of RAL colours. These coatings not only add another layer of protection to the steel, but they can also be coloured to match existing company colours or themes to create a great looking or highly visible crowd management system.
Ballast bags are a great addition to metal standard 2.3m crowd control barriers. They provide added stability and safety, especially in windy conditions or on uneven surfaces. Stable crowd control barriers can help to reduce the risk of injury to both spectators and participants. This is especially important at large events, where there is a lot of foot traffic. The Ballast bags are positioned beneath the Crowd Control Barrier, hugging the frame and preventing a potential trip hazard such as sandbags lying on the bottom of the barrier.
