It has a convenient mechanical push-button keypad and a free exit turn handle. A digital gate lock is a great way to secure a gate as no keys are required and it doesn't require power to operate. Once it is latched it must be opened from the outside with the keypad, from the inside you just turn the handle.
The latchbolt itself can be adjusted in length and projects up to 20mm into the gate post, which adds to the security of the lock. A brass bearing plate supports the latchbolt which reduces wear and tear and increases product lifespan.
The lock is simple to install, you just drill 3 holes in the gate frame and bolt the lock in place with the supplied fixings. To fit 40-60mm gate frames. The handing is easy to change and can be changed on site if required.
The Single-Sided Digital Lock has been tested to over 1000 hours of salt spray which gives you assurance that the product will survive being permanently sited outdoors, even in a coastal environment. It has a keypad on one side and a handle on the other. The keypad code is changeable and it is advisable to change this if someone has the code but you no longer want them to have access.
The shroud provides extra protection by acting as a deterrent and limiting access to the push pad form outside the gates. Most commonly used in schools, larger companies and factories where access needs to be authorised.
This lock comes with a keep, this prevents access to the latchbolt so will stop someone attempting to prize it open, it also improves the gate appearance. You simply mount the gate slam plate onto the gate frame when fixing the lock and use the expanding fasteners to fix the keep onto the gate post.
