These 60 x 60mm black plastic ribbed hanging post caps are designed to safeguard the ends of metal fence posts and prevent water from getting inside and causing damage.

They complement your fencing line, but their usefulness goes beyond aesthetics, they have a practical purpose too.

In addition to their protective function, they have two mounting hooks that simplify hanging twin mesh panels as they can be immediately placed in the right position leaving your hands free to add the fixings, effectively making it a one-person job. The fencing panels are installed at the same height left and right of the post and this creates a very even fencing line.

A galvanised post can sometimes have a sharp edge, by adding these post caps you will cover these and help prevent accidents occurring to both workers and the public. These post caps have a smooth and rounded corner which offers an element of protection but also gives the top line of your fencing a lovely, finished look.

They are very easy to fit, you simply push the cap into the top of the fence post for a nice, secure insertion. Make sure you have the post cap the right way around as the hanging hooks are on one side only (front face). Once they are in place, they are quite hard to remove which will hinder anyone attempting to damage your fence.
