Manufactured from durable hot dip galvanised steel and finished to ISO 1461 standards, the RetractaPost-GL 500 offers outstanding corrosion resistance and protection against the elements. This makes it perfectly suited for use in exposed outdoor environments such as car parks, industrial entrances, and private driveways, where long-term performance and minimal maintenance are essential.
At 500mm above ground, this retractable bollard provides a visible yet unobtrusive barrier, deterring unauthorised vehicle access without disrupting pedestrian movement. The smooth lift handle ensures effortless raising and lowering, while the post retracts fully into its 815mm concrete-in-ground socket, creating a flush, trip-free finish when not in use.
Security is a defining feature of the GL range, with each post incorporating a 7-pin push lock mechanism for enhanced tamper resistance. To secure the post in its upright position, simply lift and press the cylinder down. To retract, remove the protective cap, insert the key, and turn to release the mechanism, allowing the bollard to smoothly lower back into the ground.
