QAB Systems Ladder Access Kit 8-Rung Ladder
358 Security Mesh or Prison Mesh is usually seen surrounding very sensitive or high security buildings as it is very intimidating, strong and difficult to break through. Installation and periodic maintenance can be costly and dangerous to carry out so it is important that appropriate working at height issues are considered and remedied.
Among the top causes of workplace injury or fatality is working at height. It is important for both the worker and their employer to assess the risks involved when it is necessary to work at height and implement any safeguarding needs. The QAB System was designed to address these issues as many workers were using 'Heath-Robinson'-style safety systems when attaching a ladder to mesh, and they really were accidents waiting to happen. The products within the QAB System are light weight, simple to transport and do not need ground surveys.
The QAB Systems Ladder Access Kit comprises a 90° Ladder Support Bracket, a Support Leg and an 8-rung ladder which have been designed and manufactured to work together. They are made from light weight aluminium which is very strong and has a natural rust resistance quality so will be able to withstand harsh weather conditions.
The 90° Ladder Support Bracket attaches securely to the 358 mesh panel, the tube is attached to this bracket using the pins provided. This then forms a horizontal bar which the Support Leg can be attached to, the Support Legs needs to be on firm ground. Then the ladder can attach to the horizontal bar.
The Ladder Access Kit is for personal access and rated to 120kg (SWL - Safe Working Load).
The ladder has adjustable feet to account for uneven ground
Also available from the QAB Systems is a Fall Restraint Bracket, a Ladder Support Bracket, A Multi-Purpose Bracket and a Lifting Bracket.
