Manufactured from steel which has been Hot Dip Galvanised to ISO 1461 standards and finished with a professionally applied polyester powder coating. This gate is custom-crafted for permanent outdoor use. This design guarantees substantial protection against rust, corrosion, and the rigours of wear-and-tear, ensuring enduring stability.
The mesh fill of the ProFence® 868 Mesh gate is the distinctive 868 Twin Mesh, characterised by 6mm vertical wires intersecting with 8mm horizontal wires. This mesh configuration offers outstanding visibility while effectively impeding the passage of stolen items or unauthorised individuals.
Safety remains paramount with the inclusion of three gate eyes, ensuring that even if one hinge point were to fail, the gate remains secure, preventing hazardous drops and potential injuries. Each gate eye is firmly secured with a shear nut, rendering it tamper-proof once in place.
For added security, the gate can be securely fixed in the closed position using the sliding latch bolt. The kit also incorporates a drop bolt designed to firmly hold the gate in the open position, featuring an M5x20mm one-way pan head bolt and M5 shear nut to deter unauthorised removal.
Installation Made Effortless
The ProFence® gate offers installation flexibility, available in either a dig-in or bolt-down format. It is essential to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt-down option is supplied with four ground anchor bolts for each post, while the dig-in post option requires Post Mix, available as an additional purchase. For a 2.0m high gate, it is suggested to utilise three bags of Post Mix per post, ensuring a rock-solid foundation. It is highly recommended that you use either C20 or C25 post mix.
