The esteemed LPS 1175 (A1) certification rigorously evaluates the resilience of physical security products against hostile and unauthorized access attempts. It subjects the equipment to meticulous assessments, testing its mettle against an array of tools, including bolt cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers. Furthermore, it gauges the determination of potential attackers, measuring the extent to which they are willing to invest in their breach attempt. With its coveted SR1 (A1) rating, this mesh extends robust resistance against a sustained sixty-second attack, even in the face of Toolkit A.

Features and Benefits

The 1.8m x 4.0m Wide ProFence® 868 Mesh Single Gate Leaf Kit represents a holistic security solution. This kit includes a sliding gate leaf, catch and hinge post, three gate eyes, and Ribbed Inserts for the posts and gate frame.

Constructed from hot dip galvanised steel, which is compliant to ISO 1461 standards. Each gate is then finished with a professionally applied polyester powder coating, this gate is purpose-built for permanent outdoor use. This meticulous design ensures substantial protection against the corrosive forces of rust, corrosion, and wear-and-tear, guaranteeing long-lasting durability.

The gate's mesh fill comprises the distinctive 868 Twin Mesh, characterised by 6mm vertical wires intersecting with 8mm horizontal wires. This particular configuration offers impeccable visibility while simultaneously thwarting the passage of unauthorised individuals or items.

Safety remains paramount with the inclusion of three gate eyes, providing assurance that even if one hinge point were to fail, the gate would remain secure, preventing potential injury or damage. Each gate eye is securely fastened with a shear nut, rendering it tamper-proof once in place.

For enhanced security, the gate can be firmly kept in the closed position using the sliding latch bolt. The kit also incorporates a drop bolt designed to secure the gate in the open position, featuring an M5x20mm one-way pan head bolt and M5 shear nut to deter unauthorised removal.

Installation Made Easy

The ProFence® gate offers flexibility in installation, available in both a dig-in and bolt-down format. It is essential to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt-down option is supplied with four ground anchor bolts for each post, while the dig-in post option necessitates Post Mix, available as an additional purchase. For a 1.8m high gate, it is recommended to utilise three bags of Post Mix per post, ensuring a robust foundation. It is highly recommended that you use either C20 or C25 post mix.
