1.8m x 1.2m Wide ProFence® SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 868 Mesh Single Gate Leaf Kit
ProFence® 868 Mesh is First Fence's SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 rated security mesh, which represents a significantly higher specification than standard mesh.
When your premises has high-value assets or requires more protection generally, this security rated mesh system is ideal. The LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) certification gauges the resistance of physical security products against hostile, unauthorised access attempts. The ability of the security equipment to withstand forced entry with a variety of tools including bolt cutter, pliers and screwdrivers, is evaluated along with how long attackers are willing to invest in their breach attempt. The SR1 (A1) rating certifies resistance to a sixty-second attack with Toolkit A.
The ProFence® range from First Fence features fence kits in both 358 Prison Mesh and 868 Twin Mesh in a choice of heights. Single and Double gates are also available and are designed to work with the ProFence® fencing. The SR1 testing process has placed this product range in the Red Book.
Features and Benefits
The 1.8m x 1.2m Wide ProFence® 868 Mesh Single Gate Leaf Kit features a sliding gate leaf, catch and hinge post, three SR1 gate eyes, Ribbed Inserts for the posts and gate frame.
Constructed from steel which has been hot dip galvanised, meeting the ISO 1461 standard and finished with a polyester powder coating, this is ideal for a product that is in permanent outdoor use, meaning it will be significantly protected from rust, corrosion and wear-and-tear damage. The mesh fill of the gate is 868 Twin Mesh which has a very distinct appearance of 6mm vertical wires crossing over 8mm horizontal. The closeness of the wire spacing allows for good visibility yet prevents anything being passed through.
The three gate eyes ensure that if any hinge points fails the gate will not fail and potentially cause injury or damage. Each gate eye is secured with a shear nut meaning it cannot be tampered with once in place.
The gate is secured in the closed position with the sliding latch bolt.
Installation made easy
The ProFence® gate is available in a dig in or bolt down format, you will need to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt down option comes with four ground anchor bolts for each post, Post Mix is required for the dig in post option and is available as an extra purchase. It is recommended that you use two bags per post for a 1.8m gate and that you use either C20 or C25 post mix.
ProFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees.
