Our security-rated mesh gate, designed with a double-leaf configuration, is crafted from high-quality steel which has been Hot Dip Galvanised to ISO 1461 standards. Each gate is then coated with a durable polyester powder, offering robust protection against rust, corrosion, and daily wear and tear. It is available in a variety of RAL colours.
Double-leaf gates prove invaluable when optimising space utilisation or controlling access. Additionally, single-leaf gates are available for various width options, providing versatility to suit your needs.
The gate proudly showcases the distinctive 868 Mesh, also known as Twin Mesh due to its double horizontal wires. This sturdy wire mesh boasts narrow apertures that hinder the passage of objects while making scaling or cutting difficult. It is particularly suitable for scenarios where clear visibility is a top priority, especially when integrated with CCTV systems.
The gate kit includes six adjustable gate eyes, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of hinge failure, the gate remains secure, preventing accidents, damage, or injuries. Each adjustable gate eye bolt is securely fastened with a snap-off nut, minimising the risk of post-installation removal. Two Drop Bolts provide additional security for your security-rated double gate.
Easy Installation
First Fence's SR1-rated mesh gate kit is available in both dig-in and bolt-down formats, accommodating a wide range of ground conditions. It is crucial to evaluate the ground where you intend to install the gate before making your purchase. Soft soil or grassy areas necessitate the dig-in option, while concrete or solid ground requires bolt-down posts.
The bolt-down kit includes the essential ground anchor bolts. If you opt for the dig-in kit, be sure to add Post Mix to your order, with a recommended four bags per post for a sturdy installation. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.
This gate caters to both pedestrian access and small vehicles like forklifts. The sliding latch bolt securely keeps the leaves closed, while the drop bolts ensure their firm fixation. You have the flexibility to open one or both leaves according to your specific requirements.
