This crucial sixty-second delay can be invaluable, providing security teams with the vital time needed to promptly detect and respond to potential breaches, potentially deterring criminals from pilfering valuable assets or causing harm.

Features and Benefits
Our security-rated mesh gate, featuring a double-leaf configuration, is fabricated from quality steel which has been hot dip galvanised to ISO 1461 standards. They have then coated with a durable polyester powder layer, providing robust protection against rust, corrosion, and daily wear and tear. It is available in a range of RAL colours. This layer not only adds a protective element, it can be matched to your corporate branding and gives a sleek, professional look to a fencing run and gate.
The gate is infilled with the distinctive 868 Mesh, also known as Twin Mesh due to its double horizontal wires. This sturdy wire mesh has a narrow mesh pattern that obstruct the passage of objects while making scaling or cutting challenging. It is particularly suitable for scenarios where clear visibility is a top priority, especially when integrated with CCTV systems.
The gate kit includes six adjustable gate eyes, guaranteeing that even in the unlikely event of hinge failure, the gate remains secure, averting accidents, damage, or injuries. Each adjustable gate eye bolt is securely fastened with a snap-off nut, reducing the risk of post-installation removal. Two Drop Bolts enhance the security of your security-rated double gate.
Easy Installation
First Fence's SR1-rated mesh gate kit is available in both dig-in and bolt-down formats, accommodating a wide spectrum of ground conditions. It is imperative to assess the ground where you intend to install the gate before making your purchase. Soft soil or grassy areas necessitate the dig-in option, while concrete or solid ground requires bolt-down posts.
The bolt-down kit includes essential ground anchor bolts. Should you choose the dig-in kit, adding Post Mix to your order is advisable, with a recommended four bags per post for a sturdy installation. Post Mix is also available in larger, bulk quantities should you need larger amounts. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.
This gate serves both pedestrian access and small vehicles like forklifts. The sliding latch bolt securely keeps the leaves closed, while the drop bolts ensure their steadfast positioning. You retain the flexibility to open one or both leaves in accordance with your specific requirements.
A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.
