The ProFence® series has undergone an intensely rigorous testing process, earning well-deserved accreditation under the stringent LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) standards. This accreditation denotes a one-minute delay against physical attacks using hand tools from Toolkit A, including glass cutters, spanners, wrenches, and pliers. These compact hand tools are easily concealed in pockets or under a jacket, making them the preferred choice for potential intruders. The critical sixty-second delay provides a window of time for on-site security personnel to detect any breach on CCTV and respond promptly.

Features and Benefits
Our double leaf gate offers site flexibility when it comes to access control, allowing you to have one or both leaves open or closed as needed and allowing you to control the amount and size/volume of traffic onto your site. Crafted from top-quality steel, which has been bright zinc electroplated to BS EN ISO 2081:2018 standards. It then receives additional protection through a sleek polyester powder coating process which is available in various RAL colours, enhancing defence against wear, damage, vandalism, rust, and corrosion.
This comprehensive kit includes gate leaves, two hinge gate posts, two drop bolts, six adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed inserts for the gate frame and posts. The gate leaves feature a robust 358 mesh infill that is challenging to cut or climb. This sturdy mesh is ideal for scenarios requiring clear boundary visibility or integration with CCTV systems.
For added security, our SR1 rated gate kit incorporates six adjustable gate eyes, ensuring gate stability even in the unlikely event of a hinge failure. Each adjustable gate eye bolt is securely fastened with a snap-off nut, reducing the risk of post-installation removal. Also, two Drop Bolts provide extra safety.
Installation Made Easy
Installation is the same as a standard mesh gate, you bolt down or concrete in the posts. The SR1-rated gate kit is available in both dig-in and bolt-down formats, making it suitable for all kinds of ground conditions. Whether it's grass or other soft terrain, which requires the dig-in option, or concrete and other solid ground types, which need bolt-down posts, we have you covered.
The bolt-down kit includes essential ground anchor bolts, while the dig-in kit requires the addition of Post Mix to your order. We recommend four bags per post for an optimally sturdy installation. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.
Versatile Access Control
Our gate is designed to receive both pedestrian access and small vehicles such as forklifts, featuring one of the largest widths in the range. The sliding latch bolt keeps the leaves securely closed, and the drop bolts ensure firm leaf placement. You have the flexibility to open one or both leaves to meet your specific needs.
A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.
ProFence® Fencing is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees.
