Features and Benefits

This kit comprises a two gate leaves, hinge posts, six adjustable gate eyes and ribbed inserts for the posts and gate frame. Crafted from high-quality steel, which is hot dip galvanised to ISO 1461 standards, it's tailor-made for enduring outdoor use, offering robust protection against rust and wear-and-tear damage.

The gate's mesh fill is made up of 358 Prison Mesh, which has a tight mesh pattern yet ensures excellent visibility while effectively preventing any item from passing through, which is ideal if you are using CCTV to monitor your fence line.

Safety is paramount with the inclusion of the additional gate eyes, ensuring that even if one hinge point were to fail, the gate would remain secure, preventing potential injury or damage. Each gate eye is fortified with a shear nut, rendering it tamper-proof once in place.

For added security, the gate can be securely latched closed using the sliding latch bolt. Additionally, two drop bolt is provided to hold the gate in the open position, equipped with an M5x20mm one-way pan head bolt and M5 shear nut, preventing unauthorised removal.

Easy Installation

Installation is a breeze, with two options available: dig in or bolt down. Generally, if your ground is turf or soil or other soft ground, you will dig your posts in, if it is a harder substance then you concrete them in for a sturdy installation. For the bolt-down option, four ground anchor bolts for each post are included.

For the dig-in post option, Post Mix is required and available as an additional purchase. It's recommended to use three bags of Post Mix per post for a 1.8m gate post, ensuring a solid foundation. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.

A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.

ProFence® Fencing is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees.
