The ProFence® SR1 (A1) rated LPS 1175 358 mesh system is an ideal solution that is tailored to a diverse range of high-security boundary and access control scenarios. Whether you need to integrate CCTV or create a commanding visual deterrent, this system excels.
Understanding A1 (SR1) Rated Security Fencing
ProFence® stands as a cost-effective and reliable security mesh system that holds certification under the stringent LP 1175 A1 (SR1) standards. This certification ensures a one-minute delay against opportunistic attacks employing Category A tools, including pliers, glass cutters, and engineer’s hooks.
SR1 (A1) ratings and LPS 1175 compliance set the standard for resisting extreme attempts at forced entry to premises housing high-value assets. This one-minute delay provides on-site security teams with a vital opportunity to intercept intruders before they breach the security perimeter.
Features and Benefits
The ProFence® security-rated system comprises heavy-duty, high-security welded panels with a rectangular mesh formation, an intermediate post with 60×60mm box section, a ProFence® clamp bar and all the necessary M8x90mm nuts and bolts. Black ribbed inserts are included for the open box section of the post.
This kit is pre-galvanised to BS EN 10346 standards, giving it excellent resistance to corrosion and rust, and further, is polyester powder coated in a range of RAL colours including black or green as standard. Powder coating gives the product additional protection and a superb, high quality finish that will either blend in seamlessly with its surroundings or match your company branding. Either way it will add sleek-looking visual and physical deterrence to your boundary.
ProFence® offers a wide range of high-quality security fences in two types: 868 Twin Mesh and 358 Prison Mesh. Our fences come in a variety of heights to meet your specific security needs, and we also offer matching gates and convenient corner post kits for a complete security solution.
How to install
This SR1 rated security fence system is available from First Fence in both a dig in and bolt down format. You will need to assess the ground substance on which you plan to install this welded security mesh kit; generally if the ground is softer you will concrete this into place, if it is harder then you will be able to bolt it down. Post Mix is available from First Fence for digging the posts into soft ground substances and can be added to your purchase; the ground anchor bolts come with the bolt down kit. It is highly recommended that you use either C20 or C25 post mix.
Your ProFence® certified security fencing system is installed very much like standard mesh fencing. The ProFence® posts are either concreted into the ground or bolted down as usual.
This system can be stepped on sloping ground. ProFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees.
Please Note: M16 x 125mm Ground Anchor are provided with all kits however the minimum requirement is M12 x 125mm Ground Anchor for bolt down posts.
