What is SR1 (A1) rated security fencing?
PaliFence® introduces a budget-friendly and exceptionally sturdy security palisade system, certified to comply with the rigorous LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) standards. This certification ensures a one-minute resistance against opportunistic attacks using Toolkit A, which includes discreet hand tools like glass cutters, pliers, spanners, and bolt-cutters. The SR1 ratings and adherence establish the standard for preventing attempted forced entry into facilities protecting high-value assets. The one-minute delay provides on-site security teams with a critical window to intervene and intercept intruders before breaching the security perimeter.

The security-rated End Post Kit in the PaliFence® range comprises an IPE post, fish plates, and corresponding fixings. The bolts incorporate anti-vibration technology, deterring unauthorised removal attempts. Powder-coated alternatives are available. The galvanised and powder-coated combination ensures excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, making it well-suited for enduring outdoor use.
When it comes to completing your fencing run, the Post Kit provides the perfect solution, available in both dig-in and bolt-down options.
How to install
The approach to installing this end post kit mirrors that of a standard palisade post, as it can be either concreted into softer ground or bolted down onto hard ground surfaces. For the dig-in option, it is recommended to use either a C20 or C25 post mix, with 3 bags per post, ensuring a secure installation. Alternatively, the bolt-down format includes four M16 x 125mm ground anchors.
PaliFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 30°, and when correctly installed, the fencing system will give a 50mm ground clearance.
