This cutting-edge system achieves an impressive SR1 (A1) rating in accordance with LPS 1175 standards, offering enhanced security beyond more traditional steel palisade fences.

Understanding SR1 (A1) Rated Security Fencing
The PaliFence® security-rated fencing stands out as a cost-effective and sturdy palisade fencing system with certification under LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) standards, ensuring a sixty-second delay against unscrupulous attacks using Toolkit A tools. The rigorous testing procedure employs a specific set of tools and techniques representative of those commonly used by criminals, such as cable cutters, levers, pliers, spanners, engineer's hooks, hex wrenches, and knives. The objective is to assess the effectiveness of security products in resisting attempted attacks using typical burglary tools. The tested product must meet stringent criteria to attain the security rating, demonstrating resistance to attacks and serving as a deterrent. This valuable one-minute delay offers an essential timeframe for on-site security teams to intercept intruders before breaching a security perimeter.
Features & Benefits
Crafted from hot-dip galvanised steel to ISO 1461 standards, this system is engineered for durability and longevity. The galvanisation of the product material offers substantial protection against rust and corrosion, a crucial feature for a product intended for permanent outdoor installation and use as a security barrier. Additionally, the system is customisable through polyester powder coating in various RAL colours, further augmenting its protection and delivering a premium, polished finish. This allows the system to seamlessly blend with its surroundings or complement an existing scheme. Powder coating adheres to BS EN 13438 standards.
The PaliFence® SR1 (A1) security rated system comes in a loose, kit form and contains 19 steel palisade pales, 3 cross rails and a steel IPE post. In a typical palisade bay, there are 17 pales. The addition of two pales results in a reduction in the spacing between centres (135mm from pale centre to pale centre). This effectively means that an intruder would have to remove more individual pales to create a sufficiently large opening to pass through. The increased effort required is likely to act as a deterrent against such attempts.
This palisade security fencing with an SR1 rating includes three cross rails: one at the top, one at the bottom, and one in the middle. This arrangement minimises the risk of bending during an attack. Moreover, the bottom rail is strategically positioned at a height where, even if breached, the space underneath remains too small for a person to fit through.
The fastenings used in this security system are galvanised, patch-treated, and equipped with anti-vibration technology to thwart the unauthorised removal of nuts and bolts during an attack.
The PaliFence® LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) Palisade Security Fencing Kit is offered in both bolt-down and dig-in formats, making it compatible with various ground types. However, it is advisable to conduct a thorough assessment before finalising your purchase, or contact our sales team for advice. The bolt down format comes with the necessary SR1 tested ground anchor bolts, while the dig in format will require a minimum concrete foundation of 750 x 300 x 300mm with C20/25 grade concrete. Post Mix can be added to your purchase, and we recommend a minimum of 2 bags per post.
When correctly installed, this fencing has a 50mm ground clearance. This system accommodates sloping ground with ease, offering versatility for different terrains. PaliFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 30°.
