PaliFence® is First Fence's SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 rated security palisade, which represents a higher specification than standard palisade. When your location has high-value assets or needs more protection, this palisade fencing is ideal.

The certification LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) assesses the ability of physical security products to withstand attempts of unauthorised access with hostile intent. The security equipment's capacity to resist forced entry using tools such as bolt cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers is assessed, along with the duration attackers are willing to commit to their breach attempt. The SR1 (A1) rating certifies resistance to a sixty-second attack with Toolkit A.

Features and Benefits

The 1.8m high PaliFence® single-leaf security gate is available in a range of widths from 1.0 to 5.0m so it will be perfect for a variety of scenarios, from an entrance for people to a vehicle access point. Available from First Fence in a single and double leaf format, they have been designed to work with the PaliFence® Fencing range. Also, they are available in a dig-in or bolt-down format, so they will work on most types of ground surfaces. As a rule of thumb, softer ground will need the dig-in format, and harder surfaces will need the bolt down. If you are unsure, it is wise to get the ground assessed or give our sales team a call for guidance.

The PaliFence® Single Leaf Gate Kit comes with a gate leaf, hinge and catch post, and three adjustable gate eye bolts. The three adjustable gate eyes mean that the gate is compliant with BS EN 12604. In the unlikely event of even one hinge failing, the gate will remain secure and not cause damage or injury. Each gate eye is secured with a shear nut, meaning it cannot be tampered with once in place.

Constructed from hot dip galvanised steel meeting ISO 1461 standards, this product is perfect for permanent outdoor installation and use. It will be significantly protected from rust, corrosion, and general wear and tear damage. The gates can be polyester powder coated in a choice of colours, giving them not only a lovely, polished finish but also some additional protection.

This security-rated palisade fencing gate features three cross rails, one at the top and bottom and one in the middle. This positioning helps to reduce bending during an attack; additionally, the bottom rail is placed at a low enough height that, should someone break through it, the space underneath is still too small for a body to fit under. The fixings for this security system are galvanised and patch-treated and have an anti-vibrate technology to prevent unauthorised nut or bolt removal during an attack.

The gate is secured in the closed position with the sliding latch bolt. Choose from our recommended range of Squire Stronghold approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks. Note that for gates to be compliant with LPS standards, one of these padlocks must be fitted.

Installation made easy

The PaliFence® gate is available in a dig-in or bolt-down format; you will need to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt-down option comes with four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts for each post. Post Mix (C20/25) is required for the dig-in post option and is available as an extra purchase. It is recommended that you use three bags per post and that you use either C20 or C25 post mix. This gate has a 50mm ground clearance.
