The PaliFence® Palisade Security Fencing system boasts an impressive SR1 rating, signifying its ability to withstand a sixty-second assault using tools such as knives, levers, pliers and spanners. This heavy-duty fencing format surpasses the security offered by a standard palisade system, delivering a formidable-looking perimeter deterrent with challenging climbability.
What is SR1 (A1) rated security fencing?
PaliFence® offers an economically efficient and exceptionally sturdy security palisade system, holding certification in accordance with the stringent LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) standards. This certification ensures a one-minute delay against opportunistic attacks utilising Toolkit A, which comprises discreet hand tools like glass cutters, pliers, spanners, and bolt-cutters. The SR1 ratings and adherence establish the standard for preventing attempted forced entry into facilities protecting high-value assets. This one-minute delay provides on-site security teams with a critical window to intercept intruders before breaching the security perimeter.
Features and Benefits
The PaliFence® security-rated End Post Kit includes an IPE post, Fish Plates, and accompanying fixings. The bolts incorporate anti-vibration technology, deterring unauthorised removal attempts. Powder-coated options are available. The galvanised and powder-coated combination ensures excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, making it well-suited for long-lasting outdoor applications.
This Post Kit, available in both dig-in and bolt-down varieties, is the perfect solution for when you need to put an end to your fencing run.
How to install
This end post kit is approached in the same way as a standard palisade post in that it is concreted into softer ground or bolted down to hard ground surfaces. For the dig-in variety, it is suggested to use either a C20 or C25 post mix and to use two bags per post for a secure installation. The bolt-down format comes with four M16 x 125mm ground anchors for one post.
PaliFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 30°, and when correctly installed, the fencing system will give a 50mm ground clearance.
