Oxford LowPro 12/8 Trench Cover Infill (Long Side)

The Oxford LowPro 12/8 Trench Cover is an easily installed, transported and stored product that effectively and safely covers narrow or micro trenches and holes where service installation and maintenance work is taking place, making the area safer for pedestrians to use.

The Trench Cover is Hi-Vis and anti-trip and will safely cover a trench or hole up to 700mm. Each Trench Cover has patented Flexi-Edges that are moulded around the board and creates a very durable and protective barrier. To prevent any product drift, it is advisable to use Infill connector strips that fill the gap between trench covers when two or more are used. These Infills will create an even surface to the covers. The long Infill is indicated for use on a wider trench and where the LowPro cover is installed in portrait fashion.

The Long Side Trench Cover Infill measures 1200mm x 150mm and is manufactured from PVC. All necessary fixings are supplied with each LowPro Infill (M10 x 20 hex head flanged bolt with a zinc yellow coating).

Installation of the Infills is relatively simple (see Installation Guide in the Downloads section for visual)

• Unscrew the plate and bolts at each end of the Infill
• Insert the plate underneath the LowPro through the bolt hole
• Insert the second plate in the bolt hole on the long or short side
• Place the LowPro with the plates centred over the width of the trench
• Place the next LowPro in line with the first over the Infill plate
• Ensure the LowPro is sitting on the plate at both ends
• Place the Infill between the LowPros and secure with 2 bolts at either end
• Continue placing LowPros over the trench and attaching Infills until the trench is fully covered
