Novus Barrier Base
Novus Barriers are easy to transport and install to create a smooth, gap-free barrier system. When installed they are ideal for use within road works and motor events to protect pedestrians and other road users. Novus Barriers are a heavy-duty water-filled barrier that has a Mira Wind Speed test up to 68mph when full.
Made of UV MDPE for further visibility and long-lasting finish to ensure that the barriers are clearly recognisable as a safety measure. As well as visibility, they have also been Mira Tested up to 68 mph (58.8mph with the added mesh panel) and could comfortably withstand it. Therefore, making a strong barrier system even in extreme weather conditions.
The red and white colours increase the distinguishability of the barrier itself, so it stands out in indoor or outdoor environments. For extra peace of mind, we can also add reflective panels upon request to heighten the visibility of the barrier system.
Uses
The main uses for this type of barrier are:
- Racetrack perimeters
- Indoor or outdoor motor events
- Boxing off hazardous zones
The 90-degree corner turning enables you to create clear cut areas to prevent anyone from encountering a hazardous zone without limiting the access space around them.
Storage and Transport
When emptied, these barriers are lightweight and easily carried. Due to how lightweight they are when empty, they can easily be installed and put into position before filling them to the waterline.
They can also be stacked on top of each other for convenient and safe storage management.
