Size 8 Tube Non Structural Side Palm Fixing (A16) Key Clamp Fitting
The Non Structural Side Palm Fixing or A16 has a similar function to the Offset Side Palm Fixing (A14), as it enables vertical tubes forming guardrail structures to be fixed to a wall. This fitting supplies a vertical post with a structural base plate and is appropriate for structures which are heavy duty. It often features within rails on elevated walkways. These non structural side palm fixings cannot enable a tube to pass completely through. It is possible to use an Offset Side Palm Fixing (A14) fitting instead if the load it must bear is lighter in weight.
This A16 Fitting is compatible with Size 8 Tubing, which has an outer diameter of 48.3mm.
Please note: You should only use M12 Through Bolts (ANC) to attach a Non-Structural Side Palm Fixing to a wall. They are not provided with this key clamp fitting and have to be selected as individual items within an order. It is also highly recommended to order a Hex Key which is a key component required to install the key clamp fittings.
