Our Internal Sockets for Rotating Spikes have been designed in a way which enables them to securely fix a Rotating Spike anti-climb system onto an abutting wall, pier, or post. These fixings are quick and easy to install, providing a fixing point for the spikes at an angle of 90 degrees from the surface.
Manufactured from high quality aluminium, our Internal Sockets for Rotating Spikes are then galvanised to EN ISO 1461 to allow for high levels of strength and resistance against both weathering and corrosion. This means that the Internal Sockets are able to withstand and tolerate harsh weather conditions without damage and that they are less likely to be impacted by general wear and tear, meaning that they require little to no maintenance after installation.
The central shaft of the system is held in place by the hex key grub which can safely and securely hold the rotating spike system in place. These internal sockets are able to hold an axial load of up to 900kg when tightened with a torque of 39Nm. Please see our installation guide for more information on how to install our rotating spikes.
