Size 8 Tube Hook (A64) Key Clamp Fitting
A Hook, or A64 fitting as it is also known, may be used within guardrail applications where an access point needs to be made through the attachment of a chain. With this fitting, a chain can be detached easily from the hook, and it should be used on vertical tubes. A Single Male Swivel (A36) key clamp fitting is generally used on a opposite vertical post, which will enable the other end of the chain to be fixed.
Please Note: This particular A64 tube clamp fits one tube through its centre and this tube should be Size 8 with an outside diameter of 48.3mm for compatibility with this product.
Supplied in galvanised steel, this Hook will have an added layer of protection and resistance against corrosion and weathering, providing it with a longer lifespan with no need for frequent maintenance.
With only a Hex Key required for installation, the set-up process of the A64 is quick and easy; this tool is used to tighten the grub screws and ensure that the structure is secured in place. It is important to know that a Hex Key is not included with the purchase of the fitting and so will need to be ordered individually.
