The GB2 water-filled barriers are a heavy-duty barrier system suitable for use around road works and construction sites. Constructed from high-quality UV MDPE, they are incredibly robust and, when filled with water or ballast, weigh approximately 350kg, offering protection for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians in the event of a vehicle-based accident.

The GB2 Heavy Duty Water Filled Barriers have been designed to be a highly adaptable and tough system, able to withstand heavy impacts and wind speeds of up to 78 miles per hour.
Available in either red or white and with a length of 2000mm and a height of 900mm, the GB2 barriers can provide a clear pathway for pedestrians or motorists, visible even in adverse weather conditions.
Each barrier in its empty state weighs 32kg, allowing for easy transport, and it has slots at the bottom for forklift use.
Where Can the GB2 Heavy-Duty Water-Filled Barriers be Used?
The GB2 Heavy Duty Water-Filled Barriers can be used in a wide variety of locations for various applications such as:
- Creating perimeters around construction sites, especially those where various construction vehicles are in use
- Creating temporary traffic lanes for diversions

How Much Flexibility Do I Have When Creating Perimeters with These Barriers?
Each of the GB2 Heavy Duty barriers is fully interlocking with the next in the line or perimeter; they simply slot together and are then held in place with the locking pins. The locking pin system does allow each barrier to achieve a 35-degree angle to accommodate curves and angles. This means that no specialised corner or angle barriers are needed when creating your walkways or perimeters.
Can GB2 Heavy-Duty Water-Filled Barriers be Stacked?
Yes, it is possible to stack these barriers on top of each other for transport and storage only. When in use, either empty or filled with ballast or water, these barriers should not be stacked
